Release your stress for a complete reset

On the retreat, you’ll enjoy daily yoga & breathwork sessions – accessible to all levels including beginners – led by Breath Coach & Yoga Teacher Bridget Rooth. There are also sessions to enrich your relationship with your retreat partner as well as learning new ways to relax and reset.

Guided breathwalk to the beach

On the Sunday morning, you’ll be led in a breathwalk down to the beach to warm you up for a final morning yoga practice. This is followed by the retreat wrap up session and then Sunday brunch – outside in Bridget’s garden when the weather is warm.

Boosting your wellness

Nature plays a key role in boosting your wellbeing on this retreat, with ample time on the Saturday & Sunday afternoons to explore the wildness of Norfolk’s expansive skies and beaches or even the royal estate at Sandringham. Being so close to nature is key to letting go of tension built up through work commitments; this is the time and the place to reconnect to yourself, your retreat partner and the soothing natural environment.

Home-cooked, locally-sourced menu

Food is an integral part of the yoga retreat for two experience with mealtimes providing an opportunity for communal cooking and sharing around a colourful table.

Each retreat duo in turn is welcome to join Bridget in the kitchen as she prepares the food for the Saturday evening meal and Sunday brunch. Bridget adapts the menu for each retreat; she mainly cooks vegetarian and is happy to cater to vegan guests or people with special dietary needs.

Best friends, couples, family duos love our retreat:

“We had a great weekend with Bridget in Norfolk. We felt refreshed and have come away from this retreat knowing more about yoga and mindfulness. If you like being able to practice yoga in a friendly environment while also enjoying great food and company this retreat is for you. We came as 2 couples who already knew each other and had a lovely time sharing meals and going on a mindful walk and sharing the yoga sessions together. Bridget is lovely and a great host and felt like someone we'd known for ages. As a vegan my dietary requirements were catered for and the food was fresh, healthy and delicious. We've come away from the retreat feeling calm, grounded and de-stressed.”

“A wonderfully nurturing weekend! My mum and I were drawn to Bridget’s peaceful place on the Norfolk coast and loved every moment of the experience. We both learnt so much from Bridget’s kind and knowledgable way of teaching. It really deepened my understanding of breath work and got me in touch with areas of my body that have been laying dormant for a while. I specifically loved the homely, welcoming, inclusive feel of the retreat ~ I was at ease straight away. I would recommend this retreat to anyone ~ all levels of experience too! The combination of tailored Yoga, breath work learning, nature (a lovely afternoon enjoyed on the beach) and delicious home cooked food make it a very unique and magical space. Thank you Bridget 🙂

“I attended this retreat with my friend and we shared a room which was a giggle and a bit like being in a dorm as Bridget pointed out! Such a well organised weekend without having to think about anything which was just what was needed. Recently bereaved, this was such an excellent place to be for me, Bridget is a warm and fascinating host. Yoga was great, especially getting introduced to the earth salutation, a new one on me! A silent walk on the beach was just amazing and the Norfolk space takes some beating. Really enjoyed the Saturday evening sitting at the dinner table after another excellent home cooked meal, the tree of life, sharing our experiences and hopes and ideas for the future as well as appreciating the now of course! We really enjoyed the company of the other lady on this weekend too. A lot was gained from the weekend, fun and laughter, new ideas and things to consider. Would recommend!

“We had such a relaxing escape in Norfolk. Bridget made us feel comfortable and welcome, and her warmth was present both in herself, her home, and her cooking. My girlfriend and I definitely developed a deeper connection and understanding of one another, both through massage and yoga, but also through visual and verbal communication. A really enjoyable and well-needed escape.”

“A really wonderful weekend with a great mix of different yoga sequences, reflective workshops and time to enjoy the local surroundings. Fantastic food, very comfortable home and a relaxed feel throughout the experience. I'd absolutely recommend it, thank you Bridget!

“The overall peace and harmony of the experience and coming away feeling recharged and inspired to try new things. I most certainly found the space I was looking for. The yoga and breathing technique sessions were both relaxing and educational - I'll definitely be practising what I learnt. The time spent outside - whether walking around the pretty village, along the exhilarating expanse of beach or through the cool pine forest of Sandringham, offered a perfect balance of environments to contemplate, find peace and feel energised. The cottage was homely with a peaceful ambience and Bridget and her guest were welcoming, inspiring (I have ideas of books to read and recipes to make!) and an overall joy to spend time with. A very positive experience for a first time retreat.
